Heat Cold Transfer Fluid Zitrec HTF operation


1. The base-fluid : defines the physical properties like freezing and boiling point, the viscosity, the density, etc...
2. The corrosion inhibitors : which are responsible for corrosion protection of the various metals.

Heat-transfer fluids should not be confused with refrigerants like ammonia, CFC, HFC or hydrocarbons. These refrigerants are used in the primary circuit. Heat-transfer fluids are not suitable for temperatures above 200°C. Mineral oils or synthetic oils like silicone oils are more suitable for high temperature applications

Arteco's heat transfer-fluid product range consists of the following products :

Zitrec S an organic heat transfer fluid based on a matrix of potassium formate
and sodium propionate
Freezium an organic heat-transfer fluid based on pure potassium formate
Zitrec F an USP MPG-based heat transfer fluid using FDA approved ingredients
Zitrec L an industrial MPG-based heat transfer fluid with organic inhibitors
Zitrec M an MEG-based heat transfer fluid with organic inhibitors
Zitrec A an aqueous heat transfer fluid containing organic inhibitors with no
freezing protection added
