We plan to use this moment not just to celebrate, but to explore the meaning of IBMs history in a deeper way.

Through our first century
as an enterprise, our company has been a leader in science, in business and in society. In all these arenas, our work has been marked, above all, by continually moving to the future. At THINK: A Forum on the Future of Leadership, we will bring together leaders from government, business, academia and science with an audience of up-and-coming leaders from across the globe to deepen our collective understanding of the keys to success on a smarter planet. We are doing so because we believe that this learning must flow in both directions. And we are confident that the insights we surface together will prove valuable to forward thinkers everywhere.
Framing the Leadership Agenda

All leaders today face questions that are both urgent and daunting: How will you drive progress? How will you create value? How will you lead in a global arena? What will you contribute to society?

To unearth new answers to these questions, THINK: A Forum on the Future of Leadership will examine the deep, structural changes confronting the worlds systems. We will explore their implications for the leadership of organizations and societies. We will take a forward look at how information and technology are reshaping the modern world. And we will round out our discussion by exploring ways institutions can reinvent themselvesbased on a look ahead to the next decade, and beyond.

THINK will conclude on September 21, with a memorable evening that pays tribute to the century's iconic moments of progress.
