Visitors to the exhibition will also be able to see one of the latest Russian developments: the Mi-171A2 helicopter. Its design is based on the series of Mi-8/17 helicopters while incorporating the latest technologies and materials. The helicopter will receive an advanced propulsion system, a new carrier system and modern avionics.

The Russian Helicopters holding together with Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) will show the following modern combat and military transport helicopters to potential partners and guests at the forum: the Ka-52 "Alligator", Mi-28NE "Night Hunter" and the Mi-35M. Mi-28NE "Night Hunter" meets modern requirements for combat helicopters, and is of interest to potential customers from different countries.

In Russia state testing of the Ansat-U helicopter was completed in 2008. The helicopter entered mass production in 2009, and it is available at the Aviation Training Center of the Ministry of Defense.
