ACTIVITIES

Within the scope of our activities we are handling a wide range of cargo types of which you may find some examples as follows.

Oil & Gas Offshore
For use of, primarily oil and gas offshore industry, we arrange transport solutions for various reels of flexible hose for subsea use, accommodation units, modules for FPSO's like gas treatment and energy process units, turrets and mooring systems. Units handled are in range up to 1600 tons unit weight.

Oil & Gas Onshore
In an industry where time is literally money, we source the best solutions, based on sea transportation only and/or based on total transport between place of manufacture or origin and final destination. Either for parts of equipment or complete plants. We have also been shippping heat recovery steam generator modules (HSRG Modules) including installation of the main parts, as part of upgrade process at Oil refineries. These movements till date involve equipment that weigh up to 4,200 tons.

Mining
We arrange transport solutions for both Mining Houses and Engineering companies requiring the movement of both new and used equipment. This involves coordination of multimodal transport from place of manufacture through to mine site for new equipment and in the case of second-hand equipment coordination with stripdown contractors in order to produce the most cost and time effective transport from site to site. We also have the personnel and expertise to undertake cleaning of second-hand equipment to meet the import quarantine standards of the country of destination

Power generation equipment, Heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) modules
We do handle the transport of various types of power generating equipment which can range between single units (diesel engines, generators, turbines, and related equipment) up to complete plants incorporating all accessories to be shipped to the final destination, including on site installation. Shipment sizes range in size between 2.000 up to 14.000 freight tons and include unit weights up to about 300 to 400 tons.

Windturbines
Windturbines are a growing sector worldwide. We have been involved in various shipments starting with simple shipments between two sea ports till complete door to door transports including complete handling of the cargo from factory site till installed on final destination. We have dealt with various types of windturbines including the heaviest units produced to date. In case of interest we can also provide solutions for placing of windturbines offshore.

Transformers
We handle all sizes of transformers on a regular basis. Shipments of transformers are being done worldwide by multimodal transport to final (inland) destination, all adjusted to the local circumstances and the requirements on site. The largest transformers we have handled have a unit weight of 385 tons.

Tunnelling machines
In close cooperation with our partners we transport tunnelling machines in various configurations adopted for use and transportation to the final destination. These shipments involve multimodal transport, including sea, river and land transportation.

Craft, workboats & yachts
Although capable of navigating on own keel, most of these craft are not suitable to cross the oceans, either in terms of size, trading limits or exposure to damage. We do arrange shipment per regular liner service or part charter. Yet shipping of luxury yachts requires special care. Design of cradles, special lifting devices and seafastening as well as supervision of the actual lifting is an important part of the job. We have handled several sailing- and motoryachts from shipyard to final destination, either by float on/float off or lifting method. We are regularly handling a range of tugs, river vessels, catamaran (ferries) and multipontoons including unit weights over 400 tons.

Dredging industry
Dredging industry is handled by us, worldwide, embracing dismantled dredging equipment including supporting pontoons, tugs and work boats combined with the full scope of various (floating) discharge pipes. Dredging industry is requiring tailor made solutions which also involves combined transportation methods for a single equipment move.
